I then had to pee but because Express doesnt have a bathroom I headed to Nordstrom since they were the closest plus I like there snazzy restrooms.
As I was leaving Nordstrom, I noticed light sweater and I needed a new one for work anyways, plus they were on sale =D
I ended up with:
The top ones great, I love light sweaters, I love cardigans and the long draping open sweaters, Its great cause its like two in one. The bottom is the softest sweater I own by far now. Its like a cute poncho with a funky style and wooden button. Would be great for cold plane rides!
was there the week befor and saw these cute rain boots I wanted so I headed downstairs and got these:
The boots ended up only being like $35.00! There comfy, cozy & sleek!
I had to grab a few more gifts so in cosmetics, purchased the gifts I needed and ended up in cosmetics!

Secret Santa
I was so excited about Jarrens christmas this year! Hes in school and really is into the christmas spirit and understanding Santa. We went to see Santa the other day and he was so excited to tell him what he wanted.. I snuck befor that and got him exactly what he wanted. A big sized remote Buzz Light Year! I was hiding it in the trunk of my car.. & This morning Was loading up my trunk with my gym bag and makeup kit and he saw the big box.. & said with excitement "Mommy! Theres my Buzz Light Year!" My heart dropped and just uttered, "Oh, shit.." But I went with it, I took it out and enjoyed the moment with him! "Ya! Jarren! I was going to give it to you for christmas, Im so sad you saw it! But what Santas getting you is going to be Better!"
(I got his from Toys R Us originally 89.99, but scored it for 59.99 if anyones looking.)
Its ok.. Now I know better.. HIDE PRESENTS BETTTER! ! How do I top exactly what he wanted? ... Buzzs best friend WOOODY! I saw Woody at Toy R us too.. So Ill be sure to let Santa know....

Dr. Woods Shea Vision Pure Black Soap with Organic Shea Butter Description
- All Natural-Eco Friendly
- Ideal Complexion Formula
- A New Experience in Cleanliness
- For Everyday Use as a Body Wash, Facial Cleanser, Shampoo, Shaving Lather.
We have combined our original soap products with Organic Shea Butter to create an ultra moisturizing cleanser. Shea Butter is nature's hidden secret for beautiful skin. Once a year in the African Savannah, the Mangifolia tree gives up its fruit known as the karite or the shea nut. After being hand picked, the shea nuts are boiled to extract their treasure, Shea Butter.
Shea Butter is an ultra moisturizer that penetrates and revitalizes your skin. Shea Butter naturally contains vitamins A, E and F, essential element that give your skin the balance that it needs for improved elasticity and to combat dryness.
Dr.Woods Black Soap also known as Anago Soap or Alata Soap, originates from West Africa. It has been used for centuries in Africa. It's methods and secrets have been passed down from generation to generation to keep the soap close to mother nature and avoid exploitation & limitations. Many have tried to create their version of black soap with all kinds of ingredients.
For centuries, Africans, have used Black Soap to help relieve acne, oily skin, clear blemishes and various other skin issues. Black soap has also been used to achieve beautiful skin. Africans have also used this natural soap for bathing and washing their hair. Today people from all walks of life are benefiting from this amazing soap. Great for removing make-up Dr. Woods Black Soap will leave your skin soft, clear and smelling delicious. This soap works against premature facial lines.
Black soap comes from plantain skin. It is natural source of vitamin A & E and iron. (Plantain is a popular food in Africa, South America & other parts of the world. It can be found in ethnic or international grocery stores such as Latino, Caribbean or African. It looks like banana but much bigger. It does not taste like a banana & has to be cooked before eating. The skin of the plantain is gingerly dried to be precise texture under the hot African sun. It is then roasted in a clay oven. The heat must be constant in order to achieve a particular color, texture & smell.
The next process is very delicate because if it is not done properly, with the right ingredients, there will be no soap. The roasted plantain skin is mixed with palm oil, palm kernel oil to form the soap. The roasting of the plantains determines the brownish-black color of the soap. The longer plantains are roasted, the darker the soap. Dr. Woods may be used by anyone who wishes to improve the quality of their skin.

Long Live Juicy!
This morning I woke up too early! The neighbors alarm was going off, & I know her house has been broken into a lot lately so I called the police to go check on her house. That's how my morning started, After that Began wrapping the gifts! fun fun fun and finally hung the stockings! I picked up new stockings for everyone in the family, I grabbed the cutest bright pink Juicy Couture one for my self! To get one click here There in the fragrance department.
The Product:
I even managed to color my hair today, I was working one day and I noticed a freelancer for Chanel at our location that day and her hair color was gleaming! She was also a former Hair Stylist and She said she used the Clairol Natural Instincts! So I was determined to look for it to tone my copper highlights back to red! The colors I used was 22 Cinnaberry Medium Auburn Brown & 23R Rasberry Creme Rich Medium Auburn. The box said theres antioxidents and vitamins like C & E. So thats a plus. One thing that does bug me though is that most box color says "Ammonia free" Well theres some chemical in there thats opening the cuticle to deposit the color in the hair shaft and it would be nice to know what it is. I actually did an experiment in school where we used our Paul Mitchell color and compared it to different brands including professional and store bought. Chemicals are chemicals and the only difference between store color and professional is, the personal stylist themselves (whether personal your doing it yourself or professional, getting it done by a licensed cosmetologist.) When mixing color as a stylist you know exactly what your putting in, box color you have no idea. We even tried calling the number on the box to find out whats in there instead of ammonia and what level the developer is because 10 minutes is fast, and to go from dark brown to a lighter deep beautiful red shouldnt happen too fast unless theres a strong developer which can be damaging.
The Result:
I needed two boxes to color my hair of course because I have more hair than chaka khan! It took forever to to apply but any color does, cream is always harder for me to apply because my hairs long, dry and theres so much of it. The 2nd formulation came out a little more watery so was easier to apply and easier for my hair to absorb. I combined 1/2 of each color in one bottle and applied both so It was even.
I love the way it came out, Its deep. I even bumped into loraine who inspired me to get this particular color and she said it fades nicely! which is great because i tend to get copper highlight and when I get over them color my whole head red! then I have a red base for the highlights when i want them again, haha. I love it!

Santa Claus is comin to town ..
Sidenote: Once reviewed products, I will update this post in red sidenotes like this note is done.
Lashes #35
Even thought I wasnt able to get my discount without my card handy, I picked up The 35s because I barely get around to going to an actual store where there sold. I love these and cant wait to try them. One of the girls I works with always wears them and ive been waiting to get some!
These are super sassy, retro and classy. Dramatic but still natural at the same time!
SEPHORA
Pro Dual sharpener
$3.00
Its hilarious how many sharpeners I lose. I got like 10 in my TRUE makeup kit from Cosmo school and had like 3 in my makeup bag just a few weeks ago and now, NONE! So i picked up this little cute one. Big enough to hopefully not lose to soon but hopefully it sharpens everything without ruining my pencils!
Fresh
Soy Face Cleanser
$38.00 5.1 oz
I have a special place in my heart for this product! I used to use it when I lived in downtown SF right down the street from the Fresh Store on Powell. I heart that place! Every ones so friendly and recently they actually called me to offer a job opening but since I moved to Hawaii, no longer possible =/ This product works really well. Great for all skin types. When I used it before in San Francisco, It worked well for my normal - oily skin so since my skin is now sensitive and dried out, Im excited to use it, my other products have been to harsh lately. Its lightweight, smells pretty and should be the best thing to help me skin right now!
FIRST AID BEAUTY F.A.B
Ultra Repair Cream
$15.00 2.5 oz
Like I said, my skin is dried out right now. So I ventured off into sephora for a moisturizer that will replenish and hydrate my dried out face! I found this, The packaging is cute and so is the design. Its used to hydrate dry, parched skin. Sounds like my problem, This cute little older asian lady gave me her input on it she said she uses it on the dry parts of her face and she loves it so Im super excited to try it! I dont always have dry skin but I figure it will come in handy when i get sun burned or am in desperate need of a pedi and cant get around to it.
DIOR
Instant gentle Exfoliant
$38.00 2.6 oz
After getting help with the moisturizer I tracked down the same woman in Sephora to help me pick a new exfoliant. Something that will be nice to my sensitive face for the time being but good to really get down and clean it. I followed her to this product and she explained the benefits and how its ALWAYS sold out, and I did get the last one. I tried a bit on my hand, scrubbed away and then wiped, and yes it was soft but the grains in the exfoliant were very gentle and she said its safe for everyday use as well!
I also picked up a pair of black leggings for work from forever21 but couldn't find a picture online. there cute, there's a cute little supposedly leather patch on both sides. That ends my personal shopping list but glad to say I can also cross seveal people off the Christmas shopping list. Oh & I just got done ordering the Holiday picture cards for the fam!
Til next time..
Toodles

I quit!
The guide to quitting smoking:
I guess its pretty obvious to anyone with a brain that quitting smoking is far from easy. Ill admit todays really only day one. Im 19, and I started smoking in January of this year and ive wanted to quit since. My last cigarette was last night at ten pm.. Im the typical smoke 10 or more cigarettes a day. Heres the smoke routine: when i wake up, after breakfast, after im done getting ready, as im driving to where im going, once i get there, after lunch, after the gym, on my break and lunches at work after dinner, befor i shower and after i shower and if im still up a couple befor i get to bed. My cigarette of choice Parliament Lights. love those things, there so light and cute. Atleast I smoke a good cigarette, pricey tho. The cheapest I can get a pack for is $8.25 thats every two days. On average I spend 9.50 because the store that sells it for cheap isnt always convenient. My reasons for wanting to quit 1) Its desgusting 2)Im a mother 3)Its unhealthy 4) Its aging me 5) Its expensive 6) Its a drug 7) I never wanted to be a smoker. Clearly theres alot of good reasonable reasons to quit smoking, growing up my dad was a chain smoker, ALWAYS smoked around me and in the house, in the car everywhere. It drove me crazy, I hated being around it and begged him every day as a child to quit, and every pack he bought he said was his last & now Ive had the same routine with my son. and It sucks, Ive been debating to quit smoking for half a year now, might as well do it sooner then later right? So Yeah I quit, I have no urge to smoke but then again It is still day one but I feel confident. Reason 8) I dont wanna lose $100 bucks. Me and my uncle bet he coudlt quit drinking and I couldnt quit smoking as the new year approaches, we were joking around about how we should just keep it up and how im going to get him 2 cases of beer for christmas. He keeps randomly calling me saying that I should go smoke a cigarette and how he wants one even tho he doesnt even smoke.. and Im weak minded. thats another thing, I cant stand how Cigarettes control me, uhg. So Im going to be stronger, where theres a will theres a way. And my will power is convincing my nicotine addiction to get over it.
For the past three days or so its been the only thing on my mind, quit smoking. I eat healthy, go to the gym every day and still smoke- pointless! I even tried calling the 1800quitnow hotline, there useless..
Ill keep you updated on how this goes...

CARDIO!
Ive been looking for train cases to purchase and am considering a few;
This ones $60.00 would be good for smaller jobs..
This ones good too, just to store make up & good for make up jobs.
I think I'd like this for bigger jobs like weddings etc.
I like the bag idea too..
I really like the compactibility of this & material;
I like this for hair and make up.. bring all at once instead of switching everything out for every job.. just in case you forget something, better safe then sorry =)
So.. Im going to take a little bit more time to figure out the one i should get.. toodles..
