I think its safe to say, the holidays are over and Im surviving! Inspite of this wonderful holiday season, Im quite sure Ive put on some pounds. uhg. Those holiday blues or as Holly or aubrey whatever you must, Liked to say in breakfast at tiffanys.. The reds caught up to me and I stopped working out and ate my life away. BUT it being a new year and the holidays being over!! I came up with an idea. To hike Koko head. Unfortunately the motivation came from a unsupportive family member saying I couldnt do it and totally saying Im not even invited with him while he invited everyone else. So I asked my uncle vince and pops to join me on me first hike up Koko head. I woke up at 6 am, got ready with jarren for his first day back at school might i mention. picked up dad, then vince and began our hike at about 830. Im not exactly on the track team nor was I in high school. So it was tough, and I had to stop and catch my breath a few times but i made it! .. It may have taken about 45 mins haha and some make it in 15.. but I did it!
